Key highlights include : great location near the thousand island tour cruises, friendly staff, great well-maintained on-site restaurant and bar with delicious food, good ambience, nice and clean rooms Some areas of improvement: some renovations are needed particularly for the washroom tub and the gym (can add some gym machines or greater level of dumbbells). Having a balcony is nice. We would request if they can be cleaned a bit more regularly to...

“We stay here twice a year in taking and picking up our son from College at Clarkson. It’s close to the interstate but not noisy, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.”

“The staff was great but we were missing a handle to the faucet in our shower. Also they were short of staff and the breakfast items were all gone by 9 am and we had to ask they replenish them. The Tv service was also very difficult to use. They should provide some instructions re: the TV.”

“I never like to put down a place that's "trying". This location is on the water and very close to all activities (downtown) so that's a plus. The office was very responsive to needs/problems ... and friendly. Price was a bit high to us, but maybe not for this location. The unit (attached cabin) was NOT spectacular. Lots could be improved. If you have the money ... stay elsewhere. If not, this is a good base for seaway cruises, etc.”

“A delightfully nifty little hotel in a charming village. It's a bit odd with self check in, and no staff on site, but it's just that a bit odd. Remote/virtual staff, timely, communicated with us on check in and check out. They were easy to contact and communicate with, they were kind and attentive so it didn't matter at all.
