“This property is ok but severely outdated. Smell of mildew in halls and bedroom. The staff although was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was ok with make your own waffles. A shame this is the only hotel in North Vernon.”

“Sooo... The Two rooms they attempted to have us stay in were FILTHY. NASTY stains on the covers, handwritten stuff on a wall, old, lousy paint. The pool was out of order and filled w7th algae. A real sweeter birthing place. When we decided Not to stay, the guy at the desk was OK. He checked each room to be sure we didn't damage (or steal?) anything. When we canceled, he charged us $15 "Maid fee" which is laughable. I didn't argue. I'll take that up with our credit card company or Expedia.”

“AC was off in the entire hotel, was told to just wait until the room cooled down: we walked into the room at 88 degrees! Pool is not functioning with no warning on the site. TV was not working until we had someone come down, even then it was stuttering quite often. No cleaning supplies for shower. No coffee maker, even when listed on site. Holes and gunk all over the walls. Do not stay unless DESPERATE!!”

“The host was great, he responded to messages very promptly with knowledgeable answers. The property was nice, rustic and away from cities and towns. It was centrally located to the State Parks and sites that we planned on visiting during our stay. It was a good home base to leave our dog when we were going to hike some rugged trails that would have been too tough for him. I would definitely consider staying again if find myself back in the area.”

“Every one loved the location. Kids enjoyed the creek behind the house. The 3 decks have great views of muscatatuck river. We had everything we needed and our host was ready and willing to get us any additional items needed.A great family trip!”

“Everything was advertised and better! It was an absolute dream for our extended family getaway. The Pool area is gorgeous and secured. The hot tub was perfect. The sauna was a great treat. The gameroom with TV was a perfect place for the kids to hang out and be loud without bother. They have really struck the perfect balance of the common areas keeping the best of the late-60s opulance blended with 21st century comforts. The bedrooms are all refreshed and finely appointed to feel like a 5-star...
