“Beautiful old building, nice big room on the ground floor. Could have used a floor lamp, a table or desk w/chair. Bed not very confortable. Unfortunately, a couple moved in the room right above ours on our first night there and we could hear their every step, cough, sneezes, laugh, showers and conversations well into the night, no noise insulation…Very nice bathroom and shower. Kitchen very well appointed, pots and pans, dishes, coffee makers etc…bring your food and enjoy the company of fellow...

“The property was on beautiful grounds.Our room was clean .The main issue was the carpet in the lobby was absolutely filthy which was a little turn off. The restaurant was closed on the day we were there so we had to dtive a distance for meals. It was a nice scenic stop inbetween two city visits.”

“This is a beautiful gem a short drive from Quebec City. Gorgeous views with lots of space. We stayed 4 nights with children and were thrilled to learn there was a public outdoor pool across the street, as well as a playground! The house is beautiful with everything you could need during your stay. The hosts live next door and are very welcoming and helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for some true rest and relaxation!”

“We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful old house. Despite the cold weather, the house was always cozy and warm and there was plenty of wood for the fire. The kitchen was well stocked and the hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. There was plenty of space for a family of five and we appreciated having the extra room to use as an office. “Wonderful home and excellent experience with the host! This home was beautiful, comfortable, and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the island and visited the coffee shop and boutique up the road several times during our stay. It is a quick drive from the house to Montmorency Falls, nice grocery stores, bistros, and easy to get into the old city. We stayed in mid April so it was too cold to enjoy the hot tub or the pool. Will definitely be returning with our children and grands!!”
