“The hotel was wonderful! We stopped just to sleep during a roadtrip, and I wish we could have stayed. The room was very spacious, the staff was nice, the area was beautiful, location was good! And breakfast was early! We needed to leave before breakfast started, but when we were leaving the front desk said breakfast was early so we ate! It was the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had. The only thing was the bathroom smelled very strange; I had to hold my breath. But overall, I still give it 5...

“We were so surprised. We drove past, were a little unsettled at the facade, went in and still unsure. There is some remodelling going on. During check in, we were put at ease. She was so helpful, engaging & friendly. Then she said, we need to go outside and go through the red door! WHAT? Really? As we were walking up, she told us the place was built in 1883,added a little history and that we had her favorite room and why, then showed us in. SO SURPRISED. The location was perfect for us who had family staying at different venues from a hotel in Trinidad to camper camping at the creek a couple of miles up the road. Of the different cabin type places to stay - this one is exceptionally lovely. We would definitely stay again.”
