“This is a good hotel, without any negative surprises. I have used it at several occasions, since it is the only "normal" hotel in Slippery Rock. Unfortunately this also is reflected in the pricing, which is slightly higher than for other hotels of similar standard, located in other places where the competition is greater.”

“Pros; Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean with a frig, microwave, and coffee. Able to park right outside our door. Good rate. Able to bring in our dog which was a priority. Cons: no ice machine, owner had to give me ice out of her own frig in a cup. No restaurants or gas stations or shops nearby. Very off the beaten path.”

“This home was recently updated and was in spotless condition. The owners kindly provided water bottles, snacks and even a frozen pizza. With convenient of parking in the rear of the property, it was centrally located for any activity in the Lawrence and Mercer County areas.”

“We had a wonderful stay. It’s such a cute little cottage! Very clean and Gwen (the host) is so nice! We went end of December and it was really cold so we didn’t get to enjoy all of the outdoor amenities, but it was nice. The site does say that it sleeps 4, but there is only one king bed… for those traveling with more people. Also, they do have WIFI, but no TV. ”
