“The location is private and quiet. The cabin is quaint, but could have been cleaner (dirty floors/smelt like campfire) and some repairs made (floor is peeling up, porch lights were burnt out). There are plenty of fresh linens and bath towels. The kitchen had dishes, pots/pans, coffee maker, etc. and a dishwasher, microwave and an air fryer. “The cabin and surrounding grounds are exactly as described. While it's off-grid, it's still really nice. Yes, it's in the woods so there might be bugs or leaf debris. “We had a wonderful time at this cabin! It was clean, the location was great and peaceful and easy proximity to red river gorge and hiking, which was our main attraction to the area. “Everything was great. The only problem is that the bed is too high for anyone short. My mom is 5’4” and couldn’t get on it. I was able to since I’m 5’8”. She slept on the couch. If you can lower it a few inches would be good. The location was perfect for us since we were going to a family reunion in town on Sunday. The host warned me of the music but it turned out not as loud as I expected. Will consider it again for the future.”
