“We were passing through on a motorcycle trip. The hotel was just as described. Nothing too fancy and no interaction with anyone while checking in or out. There was a cool looking bar area but it was closed for a private party. Not many dinner choices around the area however we took a beautiful stroll along the water to the marina where we had a drink and dinner. ”

“The host was super nice and accomodated our needs/request for an extension cord and help to print something. The beds were super comfortable and clean. I was especially grateful for the hot water since many places don't have that. The location is close to restaurants and stores. ”

They are still working on completing the renovations which was good for us because we got to go thru all the rooms & see all the furnishings. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had a creative prison theme that gave it a unique charm. It met all our needs and even had thoughtful extras like a sleeping mask, which was a nice touch. “Lily Pad #1 was impressive. The revitalization of the space was very tastefully done. It created a spark to do the same for several of the other structures in the area that just need a lift up. Some more than others, but they are ALL worth saving! The area could have so much potential! I just wish I were younger to take on some of the projects myself!
