“The property was clean and just as advertised. The owner was also very flexible in extending our check out time by a little bit since the checkout time was 10 and we had a funeral at 1, leaving us with 3 hours of downtime. We were all very appreciative and would leave a higher review if possible!”

“Very cute little place to stay and super clean. The check in process was very easy! The host was very friendly and quick to respond!”

“Absolutely love this place. But they need to update the TV remote and neither lamp next to the bed worked. Not a big deal but if that’s all I can complain about. I think they did a great job. The place was spotless and very comfortable. I love sitting out on the balcony and watching the town.”

“This Hotel is conveniently located for many points of interest. It's great for groups and plenty of local restaurants within walking distance. They also have nice sitting areas and breakfast was pretty good. It was nice not having to look for a breakfast stop.”

“It met the minimum requirements for me.”

Wall paint peeling and dropping. Toilet backed up after first use, called front desk. Said maintenance man would come, but they never sent anyone to fix. No plunger in room, took back off toilet and manually moved to get some to go down, bowl would not drain. Was able to keep from flowing over but all use...

“Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Min bokning hade inte kommit dem tillhanda när vi anlände till hotellet men de gjorde verkligen allt för att få ordning på det. Trevligt intryck . ”

“What a unique experience getting to stay at this old country store. I admire the owner's desire to preserve a part of history. The property was exceptionally clean, well-supplied and I had a wonderful stay. If I need overnight accommodations in the area, I'll definitely try to stay here again.”

“Beautiful views. Didn’t see any bears lol. We arrived after dark and had some trouble figuring out how to get in but the host was quick to respond. Make sure you know 2nd bathroom is in detached building outside. I missed that in the description. It was a nice place to stay really comfortable beds. Host set up play area at the bottom which was nice for the kids. Porch has a swing for relaxing. Veranda was where I spent a lot of time. I love the rocking chairs. Very peaceful.”

“Excellent and comfortable. Would love to stay longer and will return if ever back in Wise VA.”

“We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back. The owners thought of every thing for the rooms.”
