“Stayed one night and travelled from the hotel to the Illinois state fair. It was about a 30 minute drive and much cheaper than staying in Springfield. Great for a quick stay as it was clean, comfy, and had new appliances.”

“The staff was very nice. It’s lovely they allow dogs. The property needs some work, the room itself was not great The beds were incredibly lumpy and in need of upgrade. The room was clean though and it had a refrigerator and microwave. I wouldn’t expect breakfast on site as an “amenity” as it was very limited with fruit (maybe they ran out of food?). The only amenity besides two extra rolls of toilet paper and a bar of soap. The staff was very nice and for their hospitality I give them three...

“First room smelled like smoke. 2nd room had nasty mold in the shower. I demanded a refund. Disgusting. This place should be shut down.”

“Started off with a broken elevator, which was not disclosed until after the check in process was complete. Once we get to the room we see small ants in the bed, the shower, and the sinks. The furniture in the room was dirty and worn. There was no towel/mat for the bathroom floor after showers and there was hair and dirt on the floor behind the toilet. The bed was a bit too firm and the pillows flat, all of that made for an unacceptable experience.”

“Property is well-maintained, and clean. All the amenities are there. Two of the beds are in a loft with a low ceiling - I couldn't stand up straight, and I'm only 5'7". The beds were way too soft and I ended up on the couch. The town square with nice shops and a movie theater are only a block away. Parking was easy. It is in an old building, so some creaky noises are expected. But there is a property above it, and every footstep, flush, and drip from above can be clearly heard. ”

“Great stay! Perfect location within walking distance to everything we enjoy. The home is spotless, well cared for, and has plenty of space. Megan is a fantastic host, very responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!”

“The arcade in the basement as well as 3 arcades within 100 feet was a great advantage to keeping the kiddos happy. McDonalds close. Projection TV onto the wall was nice for movies and plenty of games to play. Great view of the town square and of the railroad tracks to watch trains go by.”
