“Den så kallade poolen är utan klor dvs det är en damm med växter och grodor. Ser kanske fint ut men ingen plats där det är hälsosamt att bada. Missvisande att kalla det pool. Rummet hade ingen AC, var väldigt varmt och hade en lampa , med rörelsedetektor, som började lysa varje gång man rörde sig i sängen. ”

“Very friendly staff and room very clean. Lovely setting with each room having its own terrace. Dog friendly and there is a great public open space on the other side of the road where dogs can be exercised. Unfortunately we could not use the restaurant because a wedding party was using it. However good restaurants nearby and good room service meant this did not detract too much.”

“This is a really nice place to stay. Located in a small village close to nature with a lovely riel overlooking the river. A nice change from my normal stays at the normal hotel chains. The host was really nice and service minded. ”

“Stunning ancient stone manor in the angevin countryside, beautifully restored. Our bedroom (Le Roi) - one of four - was huge, and the attention to detail and comfort was outstanding. Hosts Mel and Hywel are charming and efficient. Dinner (three courses including wine, no choice but not intimidating) was delicious; breakfast was exemplary. We will happily go back.”
