“This cabin is nestled high in the Jemez Mountains in a small neighborhood surrounded by national forest. The trails around the cabin are excellent whether you step out of the cabin for a hike or drive to one of the many trailheads along Highway 4. The area around the cabin was very quiet during my wife and I's weeklong stay. Located on a hill and surrounded by beautiful pine trees, it is serene and the wrap-around porch is the perfect place for coffee, meals, and relaxing as the sun sets behind the mountains. The bed was comfortable as was the living room. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking lots of meals. The local convenience store was minutes away, which was a nice surprise.
