“The drive up to the cabin is beautiful with a long driveway. The front porch was perfect for day sitting especially in the morning. With the view this place offers coffee is a must on the porch. The cabin gives a 90’s nostalgia feel, which is not what I was expecting, but absolutely loved since it reminded me of my childhood home I grew up in with the pink sponged bathroom walls, old time knick knacks and the maroon towels (my mother loves maroon). “Great cabin! Had all the amenities we were looking for and then some. Owners were quick to respond with any questions we had and very thoughtful; we had a late arrival and they had the lights on for us as well as a snack basket. “Plenty of room. Great views. Beds were not great, felt old and lumpy. We were awakened several times by “critters” gnawing or scratching on walls and ceiling. Would not have stayed a second night because of this. Home also very cluttered - too many large pieces and lots of “nic-nacs” scattered about. Driveway and parking spots are challenging to navigate. ”

“We stayed in the Tyson Lodge. It is a camp style lodge with bunkbeds in all but one of the five rooms. It's nothing fancy but it's got what you need for a comfortable night. Be sure a take any food and or dishes you need because the lodge doesn't have a kitchen or any kind of dishes and its about 20 miles to town one way. Overall it worked great for us, four guys on motorcycles. Would definitely stay here again.”
