“The place so so very charming”

“Days inn in Newton was a great inexpensive option when we stayed there for two nights. We had a car and no problems getting around, but it would be complicated without one. The rooms were clean but the hotel was a little worn down. The breakfast was not too exciting, but there was free coffee in the reception all day. Ok stay, but nothing special.”

“Clean and easy access. Sink faucet dripped and walls are thin so we heard our neighbor in the night.”

“Check in and out process was easy. There was a mildew smell when entering the house. The master bed was uncomfortable and leaned heavily to one side, overused and broke down. No soap. Back door wouldn’t lock. Cleanliness was fair, I have stayed in worse but would’ve like to have it feel cleaner. Coffee pods to accommodate a Keurig but there was only a coffee pot with filters, no coffee. No coffee cups. Bugs in the refrigerator.”

“Everything was as described. We were there for a family reunion and found the location very convienient. It offered a cozy place for more visiting after the party.”

“A couple different ways to look at this….relative to rural Kansas…it’s ok, serves a need. Relative to world at large. It’s not great. ”

“The container was very clean and well kept. There is no hair dryer. I have stayed at another container under the same owner. This one is good but different. Be prepared to bring all the things. Also extra bedding if not traveling alone. Especially in colder months.”

“This was a wonderful place to stay for a getaway in central Kansas. Very roomy, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and easy access to the park lake (and an optional boat rental). Small but fully stocked grocery store just minutes away. We loved it and will be back!”

“This is not a hotel you want to take your wife to. It is okay for a man on his own but it did not meet my expectations. The staff was friendly. Check in was slow and tedious since I had booked through Hotels.com. The total cost was more than quoted because they charged a service fee for using a credit card. The room itself was clean but the carpet was dirty and the sheets were dirty on one of the two beds. We were supposed to have a room with a queen bed. ”
