The pool was perfect for our needs, each bedroom has its own ensuite with was perfect - the primary even accommodated our need for a space for an infant and a toddler. The kitchen/dining room allowed us to all eat together in one space, which can be hard to find. The TV room allowed us to watch FIFA World Cup games without disturbing the children after bedtime. Sadly, the heat wave prevented us from exploring the area as much as we would have wanted, but...

“I was very impressed with the cabin itself. Quite remote, very quiet, and relaxing. The host thought of and provided everything needed for our stay. The host was more than helpful and was literally on top of any question or concern we may have. The cabin was extremely clean and well kept. We made dinners there and everything was easy to find and accessible. They thought of everything. All attractions are just a short drive away and within a reasonable distance. We can’t say enough good things...

“The experience was delightful and relaxing. We woke up to a great breakfast each morning. We felt so welcome and well cared for. This historic house was well kept with such wonderful vibes. You could just feel the love invested in this home. I would recommend it and can't wait to visit again. Each room was unique and beautifully furnished with its individual name. I stayed in Princess Victoria room. It was very roomy. I can't say enough about this wonderful place.”

“This is an absolutely beautiful home with extremely comfortable amenities for nature lovers. I loved drinking my coffee on the porch and hearing so many different birds and watching the deer. Janet, our host was such a great communicator and so welcoming. I would note that if someone wanted to be down by the water and had very small children or mobility issues, the steep grade would be a challenge.”
