“I enjoyed the peace and quiet and lack of technology in the room. I work in information technology and I needed to unplug really bad. Perfect for me. The rooms are clean and well-kept up. Cleaner and better kept than the embassy suites I stayed in the night before. I stayed here about 6 years ago. I enjoyed the piece and quiet so much I came back.”

“If a manager from outside the Wisconsin culture is running the motel, he needs to realize that most Wisconsinites are Brewers and Buck fans. The Brewer game was NOT provided per the TV and in fact paying for the game was required. Such excessive cost after the room is already purchased is VERY inhospitable and frankly anti-social.”

“This wasn’t a bad stay at all! We were a bit early for check in due to having a funeral to attend in town and the manager was beyond rude (while not on the clock even) the front desk attendant afterwards was beyond helpful and nice but the other woman had to make sure she got her 2 cents in regardless of our situation. ”

“This is an older property that has been upgraded. Good size room. Fridge and microwave were a nice touch. They don't provide small soaps, shampoo, kleenex, room phone, or tv and heat/air instructions. The bed frames stuck out beyond the mattress making it easy to stub your toes. Beds and pillows were comfortable and clean. Nice size towels. Generally quiet. ”

“We loved this property. We had 5 adults and 2 kids, 7 and 10 years old. One of the adults and the 2 kids hung out at the house while 4 of us hiked many miles of the Ice Age Trail. The kids joined us for a few miles at the Dells of the Eau Claire and then went back to the property to play and hang out. We had a fire in the fire ring, played croquet, and ladder golf. The house was immaculate. Highly recommended!”

“We were very pleasantly surprised by so many things about our stay. We enjoyed the pool which was clean, warm, and well stocked with balls and pool noodles. The community room with a pool table, foos ball and shuffle board table was a fun surprise. In the home, the bathroom was new and very clean, the dining area was nice, the bedrooms were very good, and the family room was great. The only thing preventing this from being a 5 star review is the kitchen because the oven had such a bad odor that...

“We enjoyed our stay here. The property manager was very prompt in addressing some difficulties checking in. We had 4 adults and 2 kids and the sleeping arrangements were a bit tight, but there was space for everyone. The location is wonderful. Great spot to sit outside or check out the river or swing on the tree swing or build a fire. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils to make all our meals as well.”
