“Very mediocre place. A pool table is the only amenity.. other than a few seats. The first room has several bugs .. lady bugs and other flying insects. Got other room it was clean and no insects however after night one we had a few more lady bugs join us. Also we stayed 3 nights and NEVER had housekeeping!!!! For 2 people we were only given 2 towels 2 washcloths per night.. had to ask every other time, ridiculous”

“Clean. Comfortable. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Well located.”

“Was very run down and not clean. There were dead bugs on the carpet. There were live bugs flying around the room. Bed was miserable. They put me in the room next to the laundry and started doing laundry with what sounded like a sledgehammer at 4:00 am. Breakfast was all bread. No protein. Will never see me at this hotel again.”

“Front desk friendly and responsive. Room updated and clean, bed comfortable. So close to restaurants - enjoyed Dolly's.”

“Nice stay. Everything is good”

“Didn’t like how the buildings were set up it was really confusing. The toilet didn’t really flush very well. The shower water pressure was decent but not great. The hair dryer didn’t work. The tv said we got channels 9-37 and there were only about 5 channels that actually were able to watch. All the other ones were like abstract paintings. The rest were just snow. The room was clean and the staff was friendly getting new towels for the second day. But they only have two. Could put a couple more...

“This was acceptable for a night on the road. The only bug was a fly in the room. The bathroom was VERY questionable. It smelled bad. A stain on the blanket and towels but none on the sheets.”

“No deadbolt and the door latch mechanism was missing from the jamb. Had to rely on the latch in the door to catch in the open hole in the jamb. There was a security swing latch that barely closed. There was food and candy wrappers on the floor in the corner next to the bed. Walked across the floor barefoot and had to clean my feet before putting socks on. Shower head coming out of the wall and spout pulled away from the wall.”

“The hotel was great. My room was very nice. The bed was more comfortable than some very expensive hotels that I have stayed at. The staff members were all great. There are many dining options nearby. There is plenty of free parking. This hotel is very convenient with regard to access to the highway. I would highly recommend this hotel when comparing to the other hotels in the area and in Beckley, WV. This hotel is very nice and affordable. Thank you for a wonderful stay.”

“Very homey, the beds were comfortable just an over all cute cabin”

“Great time”

“Communication with the owner was fantastic! He was very quick to respond to my questions. He even gave us great ideas of places to visit in the area and beautiful roads to take on our motorcycle trip. The check in process was seamless and the property was clean and very well maintained. The house was stocked with many supplies needed to live there for a week. The kitchen was great! Pots, pans, plates, and other assorted cookware. There were even common spices in the cupboard for cooking as well....
