“We found the location to be on the right side of isolated. We quickly fell in love with the Taff Bargoed Valley and its surrounds. Each day tempted us to take a new lane up into the moors and explore the places we were driving through to get to our chosen destination for that day.The dog walking area is close and a joy to walk to and through. The local shop is no distance and supplied enough for for our needs. The beds and pillows are comfy as is the sofa.Having a dishwasher was a bonus,...

“Nice friendly reception staff, lovely clean room with a safe, iron and iron board, refreshments available. Pool, jacuzzi and sauna very well kept, lovely bar service nice and friendly and food was lovely. Comfy bed and soft pillows. We had a lovely full English breakfast in the morning where you could help yourself to whatever you wanted, we would definitely stay here again, nice and relaxing overnight stay.”

“The staff are great but according to the locals OYO have ruined the place and dont care. Which is a shame as the staff all try so hard without support.”

“Off season was very nice and quiet. Pretty hard to find the way with old washed out signs, we got lost on the narrow back country roads.”

“Good view, breakfast was not what i expected, room design, is not my taste. Overall ok”

“A very pleasant stay Room was lovely”

“Don't used these people it's a scam isn't even a hotel.”

“What a lovely room at the top of a pub. Beautifully presented and pristine and lots of space although steep steps. There are a few quirks as to be expected in an old building but that didn’t put us off as we ourselves live in an old property. Communication was very good. Thank you for having us 😊”

“It's a cute property. It is definitely a little dated but the location and the vibe makes up for it. I would only recommend to absolutely not open the windows in the evenings because an army of moquitoes will immediately launch itself in your space. It may also be wise to skip it in the summers as there is no AC and the rooms can feel a bit stuffy. Other than that, excellent staff, well maintained space and nothing beats the views.”

“Ok hotell trevlig och hjäipsam personal. Ligger otillgängligt till om man inte har bil. ”

“Jättefin byggnad med omgivning. Mycket fint läge.”
