“Totally amazing place; great safari, excellent good and high quality accomodation”

“This was my second visit to the AM Lodge and hopefully not the last!”

“Great place with amazing staff! The thing to improve is the food, it was okay but not more than that. ”

“The room was beautiful and we had the best of times with the game drives and evry event they organised for us. The staff is really good and made us feel the most comfortable. ”

“Our stay was simply incredible! We absolutely loved every aspect of the hotel. The property is beautiful, charming, comfortable, and exceptionally well maintained, creating a welcoming and unforgettable experience. The food also deserves special recognition—every meal was delicious and prepared with great care and quality. However, the true highlight of the hotel is undoubtedly its staff. Every team member was exceptionally attentive, kind, and helpful, making us feel genuinely welcome...

“Toro River was an absolutely unique experience. We celebrated my birthday and our first wedding anniversary there, and we could not have had a more special and immersive experience. Our room was right on the river, and we were able to see many crocodiles and hippos from our own balcony. The room itself was wonderful, extremely spacious, with a very high ceiling and a beautiful private balcony overlooking the river. The amenities were excellent, the room was extremely well equipped, and the...

“ Great location, amazing food, fantastic safaris and the best hospitality that can be expected! Elke and her team took great care of us and really made us feel like home out in the bush.”

“Vacker omgivning, fina rum med bra sängar. Djurliv precis utanför. ”

“Simply wonderful! Game drives were excellent and well worth the early start, although if visiting in winter be sure to bring your cold weather gear. Accommodation excellent. Food great too (could be a bit warmer, though). Friendly staff and a very welcoming vibe.”

“The rating when I booked this holiday had dropped by the time we got there and the holiday did not live up to my expectations. One bed side light was dodgy with its connection so we didn’t use it and the other one didn’t have a lead long enough to reach the socket! Asked on arrival for this to be fixed, 4 nights later no difference. Drink service whilst friendly was slow. Cold drinks are collected by the staff from a fridge not in the bar area. The coffee machine is very slow, especially...

“Our stay at Muunga Lodge was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, Ruan made us feel incredibly welcome. The hospitality here is outstanding, defined by a genuine care and great attention to detail that made our entire experience seamless. The architecture and decor of the lodge are impressive. The design blends beautifully into the natural surroundings, creating a sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere. You can tell that a lot of thought went into every corner, from the choice of...

“House keeping was awful. Accommodation was dirty, smelly and not aired. Fire left dirty from previous guests. Washing up sponge was soooo old it was discussing and unbelievable. Breakfast food was very poor, cheap unhealthy food. Dinner option was a choice of 2 meals. No wine list, just one red wine offered. Staff were friendly, but not trained. Wouldn’t recommend at all. Setting is good. ”
