“Bra läge för affärsresande, lite utanför centrum men med behaglig natur runt om kring.
Har egentligen allt som behövs.
Ok location, a bit worn down but reasonable value for money”

“Very gracious staff, however the hotel is weathered and worn. Rooms were clean, but the rooms were tired. No elevators woring, but hallway lights were always off through corridors to reach our room. Rusting lamps in rooms, washrooms had odd metal blinds, rusted interior faucets etc, maybe due to proximity to the wtaer, but well located and safe. ”

“We arrived at Burning Shore for our prebooked - prepaid accomodation over Xmas holidays - only to find it closed and without any notice on the door. When we phoned we were told the hotel was closed for renovations- and that they had not received our booking or payment ( clearly confirmed in hotels.com) - and no rooms were available in an adjacent/ presumably affiliated hotel ( 2 days before Xmas) . Hotels.com sorted this out with Burning Shore and arranged the refund promptly . It was...

“Lovely family run guesthouse in a central location. We appreciated the warm welcome and local information, including advice that the town centre was safe to walk around in early evening. We liked the secure car park with attendant who washed our windscreen for us.
The room was quiet, twin beds with firm mattresses and pillows. There was coffee, cookies and a minibar. We walked to the jetty in the early evening to have dinner at The Tug and take their shuttle service back.
Breakfast was homely...
