“We had a really great time at Mystic Mountain. The service was awesome and the receptionist, Ms Gurung was super friendly and helpful. Our room had a nice big patio which we loved. However the shower room felt a bit small. If the weather is clear, you get an amazing view of the mountains and clouds right from the room. Väl värt att lägga till extra för frukost, happy hour och tillgång till SPA som annars inte ingår i vistelsen. Erbjuder shuttle service till stan (endast till) och till flygplatsen. “Unfortunately not a very good hotel. The air conditioner is blowing right in the bed, making it impossible to turn it on when you sleep. And when you turn the AC off there is no air left in the room. And unfortunately, it is not possible to open the window. So no ventilation in the room at all. When you shower the water from the shower goes into the bedroom. And you can smell mold in the room. The staff was however very friendly and tried to help us, but in the end, we had to change the hotel....

“The hotel is good and the staff really cared about us having a good time during our stay. It's a modern hotel meaning you will get a comfort level that's different from most other offerings in Kathmandu. On the other hand you also lose some of the charm those places offer. Great rooftop pool, nice lounge with a view and a good breakfast. Our kids also enjoyed the stay. It's in the heart of the Thamel area with all it's pros and cons. Since it's on a side street you won't be distured by any noice...

“This was the perfect resort to stay in post our Everest Base Camp trek. The rooms were very comfortable and the shower was hot. We received excellent service from the restaurant staff, the spa services were high quality and the pool and hot tub were very relaxing. All in all we loved our stay at the Terraces and would recommend this as a great get-away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu / Thamel. Note that the road to the resort is steep and windy and I would recommend booking the transfer...
