“Early pool access was a plus! Buffet breakfast was wonderful -very tasty and generous servings-coffee🙌 nice and strong!!! Staff was so friendly and willing to help. Onda Restaurant could use some more training- very inefficient-we asked for glasses for water ( and water) 5+ times with different staff and several members of our party (9 of us) asking. At one point I went up to the counter to ask and still nothing for a bit. Food was tasty! Found a dead cockroach on the bathroom floor- otherwise...

“The best part is the location beach front. The staff were not too friendly and they are good at saying no to their hotel guests. There’s construction everywhere. No reliable television service. Food is mediocre for the price. They charge for everything even for ice. They need more training in hospitality because we felt not too welcome during our stay.”

“the breakfast is very good. the coast is perfect for people who hate crowds. although the coast is very rock, the beach is still good for relaxation and body dipping in salt water especialy in early morning where the salt water is warm and calm. it forms little lagoons for baths. I love it.”

“The beach is very close by and the air conditioner worked fine. The room we originally rented was tiny with no place to sit. We upgraded to a two bedroom cottage which had a TV but in my opinion is overpriced. The hotel is in need of renovation especially the guest rooms. The pool was empty and not available while we were there. Mgt did give me a 17%? discount for the inconvenience. The restaraunts menu had plenty of options but only had six items available.”

“Bed is old, my husband fell on the side of bed because the side of bed is falling, they put together the bed closer together They dont clean shower everyday, you can see the white stain of soaps at shower room I asked for a coffee creamer on our 3rd night and 4th night but never came. Outdoor pool there is a frog swimming at night on our first night, so my daughter never go to the pool because she’s feeling scared and yucky. Breakfast longanisa is so dry. “The property is great if you’re looking for a relaxing experience. It’s a small property but really nicely updated with modern amenities but still keeps the local charm. On-site guard is really courteous and helpful. It is a property overseen by the bigger Urban Wave Resort. You’d need to pick up the key from there and a helpful staff will guide/accompany you to the location of Balai Balatong. Had a pleasant stay even though only for a night to catch an early flight at the airport.”

“Our stay was not bad overall. The room was comfortable and the location was convenient. However, I think the staff could be friendlier and more welcoming to the guests. With better customer service; the experience much better more enjoyable.”

“The property is very outdated and if this was somewhere else, the property would be condemed. There is mold in the ceiling. Spiders and bugs in every lightbulb. The bathroom reeked of urine and I found out that there was a leak from the toilet going to the bathroom drain when you flush. The stench was unbearable. The sink is out of alignment from the sink and draining into the bottom of the stairwell. The bed linens smelled liked they were not washed. The AC was noisy and made it unbearable to...
