“We had a standard room with a double bed with a massive en suite with walk in shower. We were on third floor no lifts as far as i could see, the stairs felt a bit dodgy in places and it felt as if they were sloping but it is a listed building. We did not use the spa services but did have a look and they appeared to be good. Not many big shops within the immediate vicinity so it would have been nice to have a little bit more information within the room”

“We stayed for one night and the hotel reception staff were so helpful, they really made our stay so easy. The room was lovely and the provision of a fan in the heat this weekend was much appreciated! We will definitely be back. Also, the layout and the way the property is maintained is gorgeous, such lovely plants made it feel really cared for and seeing the Peregrines nesting on the church opposite was the icing on the cake!”

“This was good value for money. Right in the center of Stamford, so very convenient. The room was clean, beds comfortable, very quiet. Breakfast selection was good and the staff very helpful and friendly. Parking at the hotel was limited but we got a space. Very satisfied, look forward to a return visit to try out the restaurant which was closed on this visit.”

“Parking was easy. Plenty of space, We received a warm friendly greeting from the receptionist. She was very helpful. Our room was clean and tidy. We will book a queen size bed next time and ask for a quilt to be put on the mattress as we found the bed a little hard. Breakfast was comprehensive and good quality. Sadia the lady working this morning was very helpful. All in all, we were impressed with the hotel and will be staying again”
