“Very nice place by the with the waterfront promemade and dive shops etc. Nice balconies for taking a rest or evening work with some wine. It is also just near the fredriksed pier with its famous diving and snorkelling. ”

“We had a good stay. The property was good. The surrounding areas near rhe property looks like an older town, so we did not venture over there. Resurfacing of the road was in progress while we were there. Location is far away from Christiansted; we took around 35 to 40 mins to get to Christiansted by car.”

“The most beautiful location you can think of at a very private feeling beach tucked away in the north coast. We did a few scuba dives that were one of the best ever. Good entertainment during the evening and the food is very good in the restaurant.”

“Just what I needed to decompress from the hustle and bustle of life in main land America. Corina and Ryan's efforts to infuse history throughout the property was especially meaningful. It was a perfect mix of tranquility and modern amenities.”

“The home is just as pictured.Very clean and cozy. Ocean view. Everything was in walking distance beach 4 min walk restaurant, and stores also. The host Charles is a really nice guy .Truly had a great time. I hope to be back soon .”

“Super location for diving and snorkeling. Apartment was perfect for 2 or 3 people. Comfortable with a king bed, loveseat/sofa bed and chair. Porch had a great view and seating to relax. Even when it was warm the apartment stayed cool. Host responded to all questions in a timely manner. Pool was super clean and refreshing. Lots of seating. Power outages are a thing at times but never lasted more than an hour. Local restaurants are fun and friendly. I highly recommend and would return.”

“Being met at the airport was just the start of a most fantastic vacation! Roy and Bonnie have created a five-star experience with all the comforts of home-from-home. Peace and tranquility, surrounded by lush rainforest and yet with easy access to Centerline, made this a truly great way to get the best out of St Croix. Up-to-date appliances, including washer/dryer and reliable wifi, all added up to a superb experience.”

“We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!”
