“The facility is brand new and the room I was very nicely decorated. Everything was sparking clean. It is also very quiet; so I had overall a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Although there is no reception, the management was readily available by messaging and extremely responsive. Make sure you receive your room number and PIN needed to enter. In my case I didn't because of an email glitch (nothing to do with the property).”

“Centrally located on Campobello, quiet but friendly, hosts were lovely. If your idea of glamping is a 5-star hotel just in a tent, this probably isn’t for you. But if you’re looking for somewhere a little more comfortable and convenient than camping, don’t want to worry about whether it will rain, know what you’re getting into with a composting toilet, and a rustic outdoor shower is your idea of luxury, you’ll have a wonderful stay.”

“Wonderful three-night stay at this very nice property. Great location along Lubec’s Water Street, making everything in town within easy walking distance. The room was immaculately clean and had all the comforts I needed. Everything is self-serve, including a modest but adequate continental breakfast each morning, set up in the entrance foyer. Patrick is a terrific host who went out of his way to ensure a comfortable stay. Highly recommended for a stay in Lubec.”

“Beautiful cottage that had everything we needed. Very clean and only minutes from downtown. The only feedback I have is the use of the laundry detergent. Tide has a very strong scent that is not pleasing to many people. The use of a scent free detergent would create a neutral but clean appearance on the towels and bedding. ”

“This is our third time staying at the penthouse in Lubec. It seems to get better each year. Very comfortable living quarters, and the view from the deck is mesmerizing. our host had everything we needed and check-in was very easy. We look forward to returning. Highly recommend. ”

“The only issues I had Was when I got to my cabin the bed had not been made and the trash was not empty from the people before so we had to go to the red barn wash our bedding before we could sleep that night. Also the ad said 1 bedroom 1 bathroom there was no bathroom in the cabin it was in the red barn”

“Very quiet location, nice back porch for afternoon/evening sitting & grill. All rooms very clean, comfy bed, nice shower, paved road and onsite laundry a huge plus,(as motorcycle riders). Very close to town, only an hour or so over the border into St Andrew for great dining and sailing. Also had a big clean fridge, gas stove, sink and frozen mugs and ice ready in the freezer ready for the back porch cocktail after a long ride.Overall a very enjoyable place for two adults.”

“We were blessed to snap up a last minute cancelation at Whale of a View cottage. It was our first time staying on Campobello and we were not disappointed. While the cabin hasnt been updated recently it is clean and comfortable. The kids loved the bunkbeds, tire swing and hammock. We all enjoyed the screened porched and smores around the fire pit.
