The house was extremely dirty (a cigarette butt on the bathroom floor, dirty laundry in the bedroom, cat hair everywhere in the house, and opened food in the fridge) and absolutely nothing like the photos posted. We stayed for 20 minutes and then left! We are still waiting for the refund!!!! Is the owner a scammer?”

“This historic home is a little gem on the beautiful St John River. We found everything we needed to settle in for a quiet and peaceful week. While the home has been updated, its decor retains the feel and charm of its past. All was clean and comfortable. Sunsets over the river were amazing. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. We mused that our adult children would have loved this place for a family vacation as children.”

“This property is a hidden GEM! Property exceeded our expectations! View was amazing, fenced in yard was wonderful for our dog and the layout of the property (master on lower level with bathroom) was exactly what we needed. Communication with Host was accurate and timely.”

“The property is fairly large and the kitchen looks nice, but overall the experience fell short due to poor preparation, lack of basic amenities, and safety concerns.The biggest issue was security. The front door did not have a proper lock, and our toddler was able to open it easily. For a waterfront property, this is a serious safety risk. The back door also had a gap leading to the deck where my child got his ankle caught—another clear hazard.Inside, basic essentials were missing—no kitchen...

“This cottage is brand new and full of modern decor. It overlooks a lake with stunning views from the very large covered balcony. The hot tub on the deck was very nice. The privacy walls on both ends of the deck made for a very private stay even though there are three cottages on the property. We loved the solitude and quietness of the area. A perfect getaway for relaxing. I highly recommend this property.”
