“The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. “Stayed two nights. Would loved to have stayed longer to explore more of Elkins. Definitely a recommended city. Hotel was perfect. Great breakfast and loved the daily fresh cookies coffee and tea available. Staff super friendly. All of downtown is walkable and safe... Great relaxing in hot tub. Room was well insulated; never heard another guest and the hotel was full as far as we could tell. Stay here, you won't be disappointed. ”

“This cabin and campground has so much to offer everyone of all ages. It is very family oriented and pet friendly. It was peaceful and everyone was so nice. I would definitely love to stay there again and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.”

“I loved the smell of the cabin wood, and the layout. The sauna was nice too!”

“Glady Hideaway was clean, quiet and well stocked. It was just the right size for two people. The kitchen was well equiped and the owners had everythi g needed to build a nuce campfire. We enjoyed going to Blackwater Falls State Park, Seneca Rocks and Spruce Knob during the day and relaxing at the cabin in the evening. Very quiet and serene!”

“Our stay was awesome! The yurt was super clean and comfortable. Communication with the host was great and they were really helpful, offering suggestions for things to do and places to eat during our stay. The entire campground where the yurt is located was quiet, clean, and well maintained. This place is fantastic, and i would definitely stay here again!”

“We met some old friends of ours for a weekend stay. The place was perfect for 2 couples- 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and we shared the common area kitchen. we were too busy catching up to use the hot tub or the sauna. We could have used some more kitchen cleaning stuff (a sponge, scrubber or brush) but we made it work. When we got there the place was immaculately clean. I highly recommend. ”

"Obehaglig lukt på rummet, som att de försökt dölja något som förmodligen var mögel. Lukten satt kvar i kläderna efter att vi lämnat hotellet. Kändes ofräscht överlag. "
