“Mycket bra hotell, mycket fräscht, både möbler, fastigheten, trädgård och utsmyckningar. Riktigt trevligt. Här känner man sig riktigt avkopplad! Mycket nära till Nationalparken och hemmet för föräldralösa elefanter. Märktes dock att det är lite nytt, så logistiken fungerade inte alltid klockrent, men god mat och mycket trevlig atmosfär och personal. Toppen helt enkelt!”

“A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. We enjoyed the food and the service was really nice and kind. Ashley is a character and brings some personality to the table. It’s very isolated but it’s possible to get a Tuktuk...

“We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. The food is excellent and plentiful. Arun was delightful...

“Backyard Balangoda provides a great Sri Lankan experience, complete with a very friendly dog named Bruno! The incredibly kind owner made sure we had a wonderful stay, sharing interesting information about local life and tasty food. Breakfast, made with local ingredients, was wonderful, especially the tea from his garden and his own roasted coffee. Be sure to try the special Cinnamon Infused Ice Tea – it’s also lovely with some lemon gin in the evening! The scenery is amazing, and the waterfall...

“We stayed for one night for the Safari. The property is well maintained, clean and it is as described. The owner is very responsive, offer good service. We enjoyed the breakfast included in the reservation after the Safari. I would definitely recommend this place. ”

“I booked Kurunduketiya as a birthday present for my partners 30th and some nice accommodation to finish our holiday at. However due to poor administrational errors, the resort didn’t have the correct details of our booking which we had paid for in full. It wasn’t until I reached out with questions about the booking 5 days prior that they contacted me to tell me that they had double booked and that we had to cut our stay short one night. “Good place to stop for a One Day visit to udawalawe. 10 min off the track with tuktuk, so nothing is really close to the hotel. Food was good, room pretty much as promised and pool area better then expected. The hotel books the safari jeep for you, and you should go in the early morning.”

“Es war einfach phantastisch, äusserst gepflegte Anlage mit grossem Garten, vielen Palmen und Bäume mit grossem infinity Pool. Das Haus ist ein Schmuckstück der Extraklasse, der Service zuvorkommend und freundlich und das Essen gut. Die Kommunikation auf englisch hat nicht immer geklappt aber der Wille war immer da und die Hilfsbereitschaft. Ich hoffe ich kann wiederkommen”

"We enjoyed staying at the hotel very much . The terrace with the pool, bar and restaurant was wonderful. The breakfast was nice and we also had grill buffet in the restaurant. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was worn here and there, especially the floor should be refurbished. "
