“We had a wonderful time at Oualie. The room might be a bit dated and the mozqitos are a menace in the early morning and evening. But if someone asked me I would go back without a doubt.”

“Nisbet is on a former sugar plantation and buttresses the Atlantic. The grounds and rooms are well-maintained. It’s very laid back, an older crowd, except for the lively Thursday night barbecue on the beach. Outsiders come to Nisbet and live music is offered. Dinner food is fair, although quite good at the barbecue. Breakfast and lunch are pretty good, but with limited menus. Overall, a very relaxing vacation, but it is best to go off grounds for other experiences and restaurants.”

They even started our vacation off with arranged airport transfers, ferry transfer and some basic grocery needs including beer and wine. Their home is stunning with unbelievable ocean views. “Everything about Seagrape cottage was so welcoming! Our host, Austin met us locally to show us how to navigate up the steep driveway. Once at the top there was a breathtaking view of the ocean.
