“Overall, the places, good, just a block from the beach. My family and I got there went to the beach eight when we returned. The place was surrounded with police because one of the guests got robbed. Two robbers went inside all the way to the back where the pool area was and the foreigner/guest was robbed that gunpoint had his gold necklace taken in several items. The local said that never happens, but I hardly doubt it.”

“The entrance is around the corner from the malecon which is a good thing in my opinion. I lived in Salinas for three years so I am pretty familiar with the place. The Malecon is the beachfront road and it can get loud especially on holiday weekends this is far enough up that its not the problem it is a few blocks down. Normally the weather this time of year is cool but with the El nino it was very warm and there were a lot of people in town which is unusual for this time of year. the torremar...

“Clean (but no luxury) hotel. Great with the animals. Super friendly reception! Very helpful with everything. We needed help with our car and they did everything within their power to help us. Would recommend to all who love animals and smaller scale hotels.”

“This is a great place to stay at. I highly recommend it . It has a wonderful view to enjoy the ocean and the sunset . The hostess, Mary Jane made sure that everything was perfect. Everyone in the building was polite and respectful . I will definitely be back!”

“Highly recommend. Excellent property, spacious three large rooms, and well equipped for your stay. Also nice pools, spa/jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, billiards and ping pong community tables for us. Secure garage parking. Great time, very responsive host; thanks Karol! Also, location is great right in front of beach, with tons of activities there. Was able to rent umbrella, chairs, jet skis, boat ride, setup fishing outing, buy cooler of beers, and excellent seafood right out front. ”
