“Property was ok , no water in the pool, the coffee offered by staff 24 hours a day did not work as I tried to get a cup the morning we checked out and headed to the job,, there was a lack of cold water to tame down the hottest water I’ve ever felt for the shower. This seems to be mostly a blue collar worker motel which is what we are accustomed too. So the night time environment may not be suitable for young children lol”

“Remarkably clean & well maintained motel! Proprietor is friendly and efficient. I was concerned that it might be noisy since it’s right on US 2, but wasn’t a problem at all. If you’re looking for a nostalgic experience in Manistique, stay here!”

“We were on a vacation for a week, with no plans; we stopped when we wanted and seen what we wanted and didn't use technology, it was amazing and this was the nicest room we stayed in. The room was clean and taken care of and the bed was amazing. Thank you so much for our stay.”

“I had to reach out to host on day of check in to get info on how to access property. Got there and the bathroom ceiling was leaking all over as it was raining outside (and apparently inside bathroom too). Host had someone come out to property to look at leaking ceiling, couldn't do anything about it .... The next day (drier out) he did caulk around something. Don't know if worked or not as thankfully we didn't have any more rain. Also- very off putting to open cabinets to find set mouse traps...

“Great location for snowmobiling! Quite remote and rustic, it’s what the UP is all about. Great WiFi, that is a must for the limited cell service ”

“The trails were close by and the owners were great! The only downfall, for our family, was the ceilings were short and our family is 6’ plus family.”
