“ We arrived late evening on the first day but Sandrine was available and very welcoming. The gite is lovely and just as described and having the pool is great and was welcome in the hot weather. For the last few days of the week we were 6 adults and the house worked well for us with plenty of space outside and in and we all left feeling very relaxed. A lovely little village but with plenty of places to visit not too far away, Epernay and surrounding villages for champagne tasting and Provins...

“We have stayed in France several times in the last 15 years and this has been our favourite place. The house is beautiful. Lots of character, but clean and fresh throughout as it has only recently been renovated. Sarah the host is fantastic, really friendly and helpful. "Grymt bra hotell om du skall vara nära Avenyn de Champagne, eller om du bara skall vara när centrum, finns några större rum för familjer. Frukosten har allt som jag behövde dock utan överflöd som vissa andra hotel. Rekommenderas varmt"

Le Château d Etoges

"My wife, our 8-month-old daughter, our dog, and I stayed at the château for one night while exploring the area. The hotel is truly beautiful, both in its setting and in the attention to detail throughout the building and interior. We arrived in the afternoon and, unfortunately, dogs weren’t allowed in the fine dining restaurant. So, we opted for dinner at the brasserie instead. Our room was very nice—clean and beautifully decorated in keeping with the overall style of the château. The bathroom featured both a shower and a bathtub, blending modern comfort with a contemporary design. Breakfast was served on the ground floor. Unfortunately, our dog wasn’t allowed there either, but he was happy to enjoy some alone time in the room. The breakfast offered a lovely selection of all the usual items, and it was clear that only high-quality products were used—especially the butter, yogurt, and apple juice. The experience was truly memorable, and I would highly recommend this wonderful place. However, one thing to note (though it wasn’t an issue for us) is that there’s no elevator, as it’s an old building. This meant carrying bags, a baby, and a stroller up and down the stairs a few times. Also, because the château is quite secluded, dining options are basically limited to what the hotel provides."
