“Artsy oasis/perfect location! We loved our stay here and will definitely be back. Very close to Elephant Butte and downtown. First off, the home is just…WOW! Unique and filled with lovely art everywhere, meditation room, and fenced in private backyard. Misty was super friendly and made check-in a breeze. If you’re looking for a fun and relaxing stay in TorC, look no further, 10/10 recommend! ”

“The outside is nothing like the inside. Although older and run down looking the room was clean and perfect for our stay. The hot springs soak was nice (minus the guy who kept shushing even the people who were whispering) and the gift shop area was full out cute and useful items. They price was fantastic and I see us staying at the Charles more frequently!”

“Excellent location to relax, visit or just watch the view of Elephant Butte Lake right from the shaded porch. Home is clean, well stocked and very comfortable for all ages. Kitchen was great to prep meals in. Beds comfortable. Porch, my personal favorite. Did I mention the location is great, extremely quiet neighborhood. Would/will go back and will highly recommend to others. ”

“We had a wonderful time while staying at Lydia’s family home. She was so helpful and a gracious host, she had everything we needed at the house and much more! The house was clean and very comfortable. Had nice seating area outside to enjoy the sun. Within walking distance to downtown and the soaking district! Plan on going back soon!”

We love the safety and privacy that the privacy fence provides as we have a special needs child. We enjoy staying at the casita while visiting Elephant Butte State Park and Riverbend Mineral Springs. Property is conveniently located to both Elephant Butte and T&C. ”
