“good size of rooms, silent in night and close to city center with restaurants and shops. ”

“A nice spacious hotel, staff were friendly and polite. A great breakfast with plenty of options. Only thing that I was disappointed with was the lack of Disabled parking bays near the entrance to the reception area. I noticed only 1 car displayed a blue badge in the disabled bays so this wasn't being monitored. ”

“Although I’ve marked everything as excellent, I have to point out that the signature plus townhouse double room is accessed by a steep set of stairs into what was the basement. However it is a very nice room and the bathroom, again accessed by more stairs down (5), is also lovely. If this was pointed out on the Expedia website, I missed it. “Lovely clean room with everything we needed from a kettle and mugs to bathroom essentials. It was really quiet and the bed was very comfy. There's restaurants very close by as well.”

“Amazing hotel in all regards. Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely area, nice walks nearby, great hotel rooms and restaurants. Clean, very nicely furnished. Superb service from staff. Great food in the Hancock Kitchen (less formal of the 2 restaurants) - didn’t eat at the more formal one. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for many many years. Encourage anyone to visit.”
