“A fantastic stay, we booked for two nights but loved it that much we asked to stay another night, it was almost two! Perfect for a couple of friends, two rooms, comfy beds and plenty of towels. The Spa amazing! There is limited wifi signal an old TV and a selection of DVD's and some games, so not for you if can't unplug. We found it warm, cosy and would highly recommend, plus Sue was great to deal with. A perfect spot. ”

“The area is quiet, and semi-rural, with easy access off the main road. The unit was clean and presentable, but dated, the unit needs some money spent on the property, and furnishings. The staff was kind and courteous, accommodating with requests. I do wish that some milk had been put in the unit, along with a hand towel, and facecloth. ”

“We had such a great stay at this house! It was super spacious and had a welcoming feel. There were plenty of games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained, which was a nice bonus. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and made us feel right at home. Kate was great with communication - clear instructions and quick to respond if we had any questions. Would definitely recommend and stay again!”

“The property was unique, comfortable and the host goes above and beyond. Important to know; The facility is a duplex though very private feeling. It is 20 min from Hobbiton, 75min from the glow worm caves. Each side has a unique character, dedicated parking, mostly private deck, bbq, and their very own outdoor private heated spa. One of the nicest places we stayed at on our trip. Thank you for sharing your hospitality with us!”

“It is a great place to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is a peaceful and serene place for nature loving people. Sandra was prompt to answer any question I had. Definitely I will stay there again if I happen to travel that way.”

“We ended up leaving. It stunk there was moldy food in top of oven. No smoke alarms. We were actually disgusted. Windows were dirty. We didnt want to make a scene so said we had to leave for family matters. Would not recommend this place infact no smoke alarms is a major health and safety breech. Never be back.”

“Hotellet är i väldigt dåligt skick, slitna rum. Gymmet är stängt trots att det står på deras hemsida att det skall finnas ett. Det ända som var okej var frukostbuffén. Vi bodde här i tre nätter.”

“Great views overlooking the hot springs. Very nice room. Hotel in general is a little old and worn but nicer on the inside than on the outside. Good breakfast but the dinner buffet was not worth the money.”
