“We very much enjoyed our stay at these cottages! The cottages are very comfortable - we especially enjoyed how we had such easy access to the beach and restaurant yet still felt like you were away from hustle and bustle at the same time. We ended up having to extend our stay due to winter weather at home and Win was able to accommodate us last minute in another unit, which was equally as comfortable and it was so appreciated by us not have to stress about finding new lodging after our flights...

“The place was perfect for us with walking distance to the dive center, beach, and to the Landing restaurant. It was small and quaint with friendly cats and peacocks just roaming the property! We enjoyed our stay and will be back again! ”

“Home was clean, the space of the home was functional and worked out well for a family of four. The location on the island was perfect and we felt safe in the community. ”

“We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!”

“Location, views, responsiveness of host were all amazing! The house is a generous size and we were very comfortable there. Beach access and a few restaurants are super close. It was easy to find the two larger towns on the island and we went to Buck Island. The house could use a little TLC but we also understand it’s location receives a lot of weather, which we loved. We all definitely wish to return in the future!”

“Beautiful property! We stayed in the one bedroom cottage which was next to the owners’ home. We loved our stay - the house had absolutely everything we needed - plenty of towels, beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, great WiFi. Loved having coffee in the morning and evening drinks while looking at the view and listening to the waves crash. The 2 patios (upper and lower - right on the rocky beach) were great and also perfect for star gazing at night ”

“This is my first negative review in 15 years. Positives: a well stocked kitchen and location. The waves hitting the rocks were relaxing to watch. Cane beach is beautiful. Make reservations with AMA restaurant as soon as you get there. If you can't get a reservation eat at Sunset Bar. You can get the same food. Negatives: The pool was dirty and low in water when we arrived. After two weeks of hearing that the pool company was coming, we were disappointed because we never got to use the pool. The...
