“I class this hotel as a work in progress, however having since read other reviews it seems to have been for a long time. Positives - The hotel is close to Telford & the guy on reception was 10/10,helpful & friendly. We lacked toiletries and requested 2 extra pillows. Both provided instantly. Nice quiet location. Negatives (and i hate doing this as the staff were great) - floor full of dog hair (room didnt smell), 2 small beds put together on a very uncomfortable matress. The shower head would...

“Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent.”

“Fantastisk vackert & mysigt hotell och lika fantastisk personal och service också... :-)”

“Trevligt hotell med fantastiskt servicefokuserad och vänlig personal. Trevlig enkel pub/bar och bra restaurangmat”

“Everything was fine, clean, good parking. Short of a plug for the kitchenette sink and very noisy fall pipe in the shower room when our upstairs neighbours showered at 5.30 AM each morning (woke us thinking we had a leak). Apart from that, all good. Would certainly stay again”

“Room not to bad view horrible”

“The room was a bit small making it feel claustrophobic. But it was clean and the bed comfy. The staff were very friendly”

“Old building with a pub on the lower floor right in the middle of Ironbrigde Gorge area. Good food in the pub - not the ordinary pub grub - much more variate d and better cooked. Locals seem to like this place too which adds to the atmosphere. Rooms clean, staff very friendly and rooms well equipped with water boiler, free wifi and more. Would stay here again if ever passing Ironbridge Gorge again.”

“It was an ok visit but we wouldn't go back - just wasn't an inviting experience - and no dinner served on Monday meant we had to go out”

“The room was clean . The bedroom was small for a double, bed was very comfy but had a terrible squeak every time one person moved . The bathroom spacious and good shower. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Located very good for travelling around the area .”
