“A nice location, good quality rooms. Shame that there was no food and no bar. When everything is back to the way it was, it will be a lovely place to stay. I feel it just needs some work to bring it up to standard.”

“Room - Spacious with gorgeous view. We stayed in the standard double. For the price we were really impressed. Only issue was with the on-suit shower. The main shower head was not high enough, so I couldn’t stand upright in the shower (I am 6ft exactly) The second shower head that was available leaked on the connector slot, spraying water everywhere, but for an overnight stay it was manageable. Towels were offered. Bed was form and pillows were comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay....

“I liked that the property is close to other services. Was clean,just the exception of a stale smell in the bathroom but I suppose that is what you get when there are no windows to open in bathrooms. It is an old premier inn.”

“Old building with a pub on the lower floor right in the middle of Ironbrigde Gorge area. Good food in the pub - not the ordinary pub grub - much more variate d and better cooked. Locals seem to like this place too which adds to the atmosphere. Rooms clean, staff very friendly and rooms well equipped with water boiler, free wifi and more. Would stay here again if ever passing Ironbridge Gorge again.”

“No tv, we and they could not get it to work. No A/C so it was not. No parking close by. Just seemed like we had to search for the staff to get counter service or look for them to get a drink. Room was ok, location was good, directly across from the Ironbridge site.”

“After a long journey we found the parking a little hidden. The house is up a slope. The house is small and comfortable as one would expect. The breakfast was super and I wish we had been able to take more advantage of it. We had a medical emergency and Dawn, the landlady ,was so helpful and kept the room vacant in case we needed to stop an extra day. The location was perfect for walking to the main attractions and driving to more distant parts. I would go back again when the trauma has been...
