“Friendly staff and a clean room in good location.”

“Stora rum i ok skick nära till stranden ”

“Nice place, clean, big cottage, close to the sea, super Nice staff waiting for us when we arrived late . Warm, even in winter !! Car parked just outside!!! Very comfy beds!!! We stayed only 1 night, which is a pity . ”

“I spend a really nice weekend at the Moter Lodge. Will take long to forgett the kindness the owners showed me and the comfort the whole place offered. To be frank, Thames is nothing to see, but from the Lodge I did daily trips up to Cormomandel City and the east cost. Just a few hours drive each day. The scenery in the area makes the drivning only a pleasure. I will definately stay there again.”

“We had a very pleasant stay. The receptionist was very friendly and informative. The cleaning was good. The views from 1 floor was wonderful. The sounds from the street traffic was less pleasant. Carpeted floors isn’t my favourite... And the room had seen better days, it was a bit outdated/worn. This is all about location! ”

“Very clean and beautiful rooms. Also beautiful restaurant, fantastic when I paid for add-on breakfast - best breakfasts of whole NZ trip. They do not provide clean bed sheets daily fyi. The dinners were also fantastic and the view from the rooms was fantastic. Difficult if you have any sort of knee or ankle issue - lots of very steep uphill, lots of stairs. Resort is at the edge of a cute suburb, rather than totally isolated as the pictures imply. Some of the most friendly staff I have ever...

“Would stay here again, had a great family holiday!”

“What a great motel with a incredible View over the sea. All rums with there own private deck. Nice hosts that were very helpful and friendly.”

“We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Highly recommended.”

Trevligt boende!”

“Bra i alla avseenden utom trafik buller på Vardagar tidiga morgonar. Mkt trevlig personal och välutrustad villa”
