“Very nice overall experiences, every detail is well thought of. Excellent breakfast especially their home made jam and yogurt. Limited dining options but we tried two restaurants nearby and they both exceed our expectations. Remember to reserve tables as they can go quickly especially during school holidays. “Marie was a fantastic host and the house was perfect for our stay in the Loire valley. We were two families traveling together with young adults and teenagers and we had plenty of room and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking in with our the dining options not far away. The house is central to many great places and we really enjoyed visiting Amboise. We also enjoyed our visit to the castle and to see the extensive renovations that have been done to the Chateau. “An old mill turned into a 5bedroom hostel. The host gives a round tour of the area and gives a detailed description of everything. The host and hostess was friendly and served breakfast each morning with homemade jam/yogurt together with croissants that made for a great breakfast. Durning the breakfast the host asked us out plans for the day and we got great tips on locations to visit and castles to view. They also have a 16 meter pool that our daughter lived in. “We recently visited the Loire Valley with our family of four adults. This loft was well equipped and modern. Washer/dryer and drying rack appreciated. There was some construction on the street in front of the building, but we were able to access the unit from the back lane. If you have mobility issues, the stairs would be a challenge but they were not a concern for us. Quick response from owner with any questions. Overall an excellent place and we would stay here again.”
