Hotellet däremot mycket bra, stort rum, stor säng sköna kuddar, krispiga lakan, stort badrum. Kylskåp och AC som fungerar. Bra restaurang och mat, bra frukost (15 euro) ”

“Utmärkt boende centralt i Loire, nära till det mesta, flera uteplatser och en mysig pool som man kommer till genom en gång i berget. Bra sängar, rent, fräsch och en god frukost, skyddad parkering. Mycket vänlig och hjälpsam värdinna. Mycket bättre än så här kan det inte bli!”

“Vi bilade runt i Loire dalen och sov över en natt på hotellet. Slottet har en underbar trädgård men rummen är slitna och inte helt bekvämt. Fina omgivningar och lugnt. Inte riktigt prisvärt. Medioker frukost.”

“Séjour très agréable au Clos du Roc. Bien situé près de Tours, de Chenonceau et d'Ambroise. La propriété est magnifique, les propriétaires sympathiques et le petit-déjeuner très bons. Nous sommes Québécois et c'était notre premier séjour dans la région Centre-Val-de-Loire et nous recommandons fortement cet endroit.”

“Hosts/owners went above and beyond to make sure we had all the things we needed. Specifically arriving late on a Sunday evening and needing supper as they supplemented what food we did have. The location of this place is so good, particularly if you are visiting the various wineries. I loved this place so much that I am trying to figure when to go back and bring all my friends! Cool, cool art! ”

“Le lieu est superbe, au calme, en pleine campagne et avec un cachet fou ! La chambre décorée avec goût et le lit confortable. Notre hôte était très sympa, disponible, arrangeant. Une remarque pour le petit déjeuner. Dommage que les œufs des poules du manoir soient en supplément. Il n’en reste pas moins que le petit dej est copieux. Encore merci pour ce séjour !”

“We recently visited the Loire Valley with our family of four adults. This loft was well equipped and modern. Washer/dryer and drying rack appreciated. There was some construction on the street in front of the building, but we were able to access the unit from the back lane. If you have mobility issues, the stairs would be a challenge but they were not a concern for us. Quick response from owner with any questions. Overall an excellent place and we would stay here again.”

“This is a fabulous holiday cottage, peaceful but accessible and with everything you need for a lovely holiday. There was amle room for a family of 6, includidng 3 adult children The cottage itself is fabulous - downstairs there are two seating areas, a master bedroom with ensuite, main bathroom, toilet, and a kitchen. There are two further bedrooms upstairs, one ensuite with a shower, and a separate toilet. The kitchen has everything you could need and more, lots of utensils, pots, pans, bowls,...

"This hotel has pretty pictures of the exterior but it is quite run down.We had tywo rooms booked - one in the main building which was ok... not worth the money though - and another room in the rock wall which was completely unusable. It was so humid and moldy one could barely breath in there. The dehumidifier had stopped working because it was full. We tried to make it work but it was too much; we asked very nicely if they would please grant us a refund because we simply could not stay in that room but the owners refused, saying we should have canceled 24 hours ahead (when we had not seen or smelled the room). This hotel is NOT a pleasant place to stay and definitely not worth the rate."
