It's remote -- the town of Claryville is like much of the Catskill mountains -- I was in Phonecia for several days last summer -- in that towns seem to lack a town center or even a substantive grocery store or restaurants. “Our stay at Cold Spring Lodge in the Catskills was fantastic. The location is perfect, central to everything we wanted to see and do in the area. The cabin had a cozy, homey feel that really gave us that classic camping experience we were looking for. Most of all, the manager, Rose, made our trip even better.
