“Our family was able to spend 3 1/2 days in this fabulous home. The fully open floor plan allowed everyone to be fully involved with all family members which we found so enjoyable. All bedrooms on the same floor were also a plus. Property manager, JR, was on site 24/7 to assist us with anything we needed, so helpful. We spent most of our time using the sauna, hot tub, and fire pit. All three were just a few steps outside the side door onto the very large deck. The entire family absolutely LOVED...

“There was no toilet paper in the room. The breaker went off during breakfast due to Keurig and toaster plugged into the same outlet. The receptionist seemed at wits end and wanted to shut down breakfast.”

“Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were nice but dated. Really not a bad place to stay. The only complaints were that the washing machines were broken so we couldn't do laundry (we're hiking the AT/Long Trail and very dirty clothes) and the breakfast was disappointing (looking forward to a hot breakfast but they only offer a granola bar, fruit cup and juice in a brown bag) but it was ok for us. Another plus is a Wal-mart, Price Chopper, Starbucks, and restaurants very close for resupply...

“Nice quite place to stay the night. No second floor, so there was no chance of being disturbed by people walking above you. Clean room, including the bathroom. I liked that it had a mini fridge so we could put food in it that we brought with us. There was also a separate freezer where I refroze my ice packs over night. Very handy. I didn't have any food to reheat, but if I had, the microwave would have come in handy. I did use the coffee pot for coffee in the morning. I took off a star...

“It was very clean, very very cute, you don’t have direct view of the lake from the porch but there’s a super cute little pond and the lake is a ten second walk from the cabin. If you’re worried about the AC don’t be, it works incredibly well and never gave us any issues!”

“The business shut down and someone new took over July 1. He said he did not have any revations. He also said things were in such bad shape I would not want to stay in one of the room, I did not take a room there and spent several hours finding a place to stay.”

“It was handy to everywhere in Bennington (which, admittedly is a small town)and was a fine place to stay. Parking was a bit dicey, being on a steep side hill, and the main walkway out front ( a first floor balcony) was tilted a bit away from the building- a drink and I might have been over into the driveway. I would stay there again.”
