“One of our favorite places we have stayed anywhere. Such a unique "house". Loved the open floorplan and our three adult children each found their own spot to call their own. Great little community.”

“This farmhouse was exactly as described....rustic, with charm. It was a very nice, secluded area with the downstairs living space big enough for 8 of us.The kitchen was very updated as well as one of the bathrooms.My suggestions would be to clean up the back yard and gardens, which is very overgrown and needs some TLC. The outside of the house could also use some updates.Not all bedrooms have AC (unfortunately) and one of the showers is almost useless unless you are smaller than 5'. Perfect...

“The house has plenty of space. It is on a quiet part of the lake but close to wineries, breweries and Aurora, NY. Easy to make an afternoon trip to Canandaigua, Ithaca, Geneva, Skaneatles etc.”

“Property was a bit rustic, but an inexpensive option for direct access to Lake Cayuga. Faucet water carried a pungent odor when we first arrived due to high mineral content, but dissipated after use. Septic system was functional. Great internet access given location. Was able to reach Ithaca in about an hour, the Syracuse State Fairgrounds in about an hour and a half. Convenient access to three wineries in a half hour’s drive and a brewpub. Quiet space in a neighborhood of friendly people.”

“The house was beautifully done! The owners thought of just about everything you could need—board games, magazines, tissues, sunscreen, aloe, bandaids, firewood, etc. They also had two kayaks and life jackets of various sizes. There’s a great views of the lake from the house. There were lawn chairs and a table with chairs on the dock if you wanted to eat out there. There’s a hot tub next to the house as well.The bunk house is very nice!It’s a great place to stay!”

“Kishan is a courteous responsive host. Booking was confirmed promptly and message replies were timely. This is a cute cottage conveniently located near Long Point State Park (walking distance) and The Inns of Aurora (short drive to restaurant / spa). Also close to King Ferry Corner Store, a quaint shop for groceries / supplies / some local artisan items. Kitchen has dishes/cooking supplies necessary for meal prep and had a well-stocked pantry with cooking oil, spices, and some basic staples....

“We were there for a long weekend and a wedding at the Inn of Aurora. The location cannot be beat with easy walking to all events. The host Jacci is great and very supportive and easy to work with. The place is clean, came well provisioned and tastefully regionally and historically designed. ”

“This obviously well-loved home was a great place for our extended family to stay during Cornell graduation weekend. It’s about a 35 min drive to campus, but we loved having lots of space to ourselves, the beautiful lake view, the cozy screen porch to hang out on, the fire pit to gather around, and a well stocked kitchen to help us with our meals (pro tip — we ordered from Wegman’s catering menu so we didn’t have to cook dinners). “We were impressed with how this well-equipped this home was. There was very little that we wished for and those things were minor. Our group included my daughter, son-in-law andd adult son, so having the two buildings gave everyone their privacy. The lake comes right to the foundation - it feels like living on a houseboat. Our hosts were very responsive and not at all intrusive. It was a very quiet neighborhood - just the occasional power boat. The purple marten house was fascinating to...

“The property was pleasant and in very good condition. However, we experienced difficulty getting into the property because the key code in the door lock was unreliable. It often didn't work. The appliances in the kitchen were very good, but we had trouble with the dishwasher. Instruction sheets on how to use the appliances would have helped. My daughter encountered a ghost spider in the bathroom and that was unpleasant. The backyard had a nice firepit, and the house was very comfortable. ...
