“We had a great experience at Whispering Winds! The staff was super friendly and the check in process was quick. This is a very cute little roadside motel - the rooms are more like tiny bungalows than a hotel room. Everything was clean and well cared for. The whole place is a little dated but honestly, that really added to the charm for us. Our only complaint (and it's a small one) is that the walls are paper thin, so you can here everything going on outside very clearly. Would definitely...

“Not really a "hotel", just a old house converted into a handful of suites, each with bedroom and bathroom. Easy to park, I was texted a key code for the front door and my room door before I arrived. Large room with everything needed for a stay, including a great bathroom and very comfortable bed. Easy walk to all the shops and restaurants downtown. Basic items for provided for breakfast and snacks.”

“We stayed for a few nights over the holidays. The space is a renovated antique barn with absolutely beautiful and rustic interior decoration. The bed was so comfy, we cooked a few meals in the apt as well, and enjoyed a lovely morning walk around the pond into the neighboring field/park they’ve cleared. Host was extremely responsive and easy to contact. We had a very lovely time!”

“I stayed here while helping my son move to La Fayette, NY from NJ. This place is awesome! The room was spacious, clean, quiet & comfortable and the location is absolutely beautiful! There is a restaurant (the View) on premises which is crazy good, with a regular local crowd that is welcoming & friendly. On top of all of that, the customer service is fantastic - from the host (shout out to Merritt who was very responsive & patient with me) to the wait staff at the View to the golf staff (there's...
