“A wonderful little hotel in what was once a family home. The hotel has personality and a wonderfully cozy ambiance. The host was very personable and polite, and was a joy to converse with. The room had great personality, and each room has their own individual style. Our room had plenty of space to move around, and did not feel stuffy or confined. The bed was an incredibly comfortable four-poster. We will definitely mark this as a hotel to revisit whenever we are in the area. ”

“What a nice, vintage place - yet very clean and not shabby at all! I enjoyed sitting on the porch. A breakfast place is nearby. I thought being so old, there would be thin walls, but it was so quiet! The bed was comfy and the shower was so great, I took a picture of the shower head to get for home. I would definitely stay here again if in this part of Vermont. ”

“This is a beautiful, historic property and pretty consistent with the photos on the website. The room I had was just as pretty with some antique furnishings, but of course in person you notice that it is an old building. The room was a great size, and I loved the hardwood floors. The bathroom was also large and you are provided a sundry of items for convenience. The bed was comfortable, though it did seem to have a center depression. The only other issue I had was that though the the showerhead...

“Very quiet. Evening staff efficient and helpful upon arrival. Breakfast was posted to start at 7 AM but food and drink was not ready. Left without breakfast. ”

“The only decent thing was that it was clean. Broken doors, broken remote, broken lamp, was frightening pulling in with people that seemed to be just hanging out. Maybe they lived there in a room. All kinds of what appeared to be junk all around run down buildings. ”

“It is a delightful cabin with everything one could possibly need for cooking, bathing, relaxing. The deep, claw foot bathtub was lovely. The decor of the entire place kept us intrigued and smiling with all of the chandeliers, wall coverings, candles, etc. We loved the front porch sitting area with the incredible view. And the backyard was amazing for star gazing at night. Beds were comfortable and clean. We absolutely loved it there and hope to go back sometime!”
