“We stayed in the Mallard Cabin right by the lake. Only having 1 bathroom was a bit tight for my family of 5, but luckily the office was right next door and had bathrooms if needed. The view from the porch was beautiful and we loved using the complimentary kayaks. There was a musty smell in the cabin, but it is an older building, so nothing we couldn't handle. My kids loved staying on the lake, making smores in the fire pit and playing board games on the porch. Having a full kitchen was great...

“The room was spotless and beautiful!!! Up to date furnishings, bedspread modern lamps. Bathroom with step free shower was amazing. TV was huge and excellent to watch from bed. AC was cool. When you pull up its appearance is an old strip motel, but inside the rooms its a 5 star room. We could not find an ice machine, no outside trash cans for dog waste and the step up to the room from the parking are our only minor complaints. We would love to stay again. “Great location on the lake. My husband and I kayacked, fished, brought our pup along. We enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the lake. The owners were more than welcoming, anticipated our needs before we thought of them. ”

“This tiny home was very well kept and super cute! It was just enough space for my husband and I and our two small children. Any more people and we would have been a bit crammed. There was enough room for 2 in the bedroom and two on the pull-out couch. There is only a small dining room table fit for two. There's a tv in the living area, but it's at a weird angle so a bit uncomfortable to watch anything together. And if you are over 6 foot tall the shower may be a bit crammed. But overall...

“We had a great time at the cabin! The pool and creek was the best intertainment for the kids and not very crowed. We brought tubes and chairs to relax in the creek which was fun! The ice maker in freezer was broken, however there were atleast 10-15 ice trays in the freezer. The jacuzzi tub in master bathroom didn't work. Two suggestions: Place the number of the house at the edge of the driveway and possibly place the box for trash on some sort of stand since the latches locking it were hard to reach and open for a senior. “This is definitely one of the best stays when visiting Helen,GA and surrounding areas. It was so clean and comfortable with beautiful, relaxing creek views. The property has all the amenities of home. It was just a short drive to all the places we wanted to go in Helen. Unfortunately, it was still way too hot out to use the fire pit in the first week of September. We still enjoyed our stay.”
