“Kleines Hotel mit kleinen Zimmern. Nett eingerichtet mit toller Dachterasse. Parken nur an der Straße, wobei das Hotel beim Kaufen des Parktickets behilflich ist. Tolles Frühstück wird in einem nahen Café serviert. Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit sehr nettem Personal zu einem extrem günstigen Preis. ”

“The place is like a dream with all the movie’s settings. Cleanliness and hospitality are top notched. I highly recommend the lodge. ”

“We stayed 2 nights just to do rafting. Hotel arranged tour with perfect guide for 85 USD per person inclusive lunch. Hotel in middle of town but not mutch to do there. Quite simple but clean rooms very basic breakfast.”

“First Shayna was quick to respond and so we choose to stay a night on our way from the Caribbean side to the Pacific side. We arrived at Vista de Paz late afternoon and were greeted by a very nice gentleman, Guillermo. He showed us around the home and then the grounds. Before leaving for the evening made sure we had a fire going and we had enough firewood. Due to all the traveling I had requested a cook for the evening. “The host was wonderful and even brought us a fruit welcome. The home is great and bedrooms are set to either side of spacious common area, full kitchen, and an amazing deck that looks out over the town and volcano. We had an incredible stay!”

“Wow, what an incredible slice of heaven. Feels like you’re a million miles away from civilization. Waking up to the sounds of the birds in the morning, dinner with Gregory (host) and sitting on the porch in the evening were highlights of the stay. It’s a commitment to get up and down the road and 4wd is essential. As such I’d recommend staying at least 2 nights w/o going down. Hosts offers horseback rides and guided hikes around the property.
