“Nice decor, comfortable bed but not very cosy, more geared towards functions and corporate.”

“Stunning venue! unit was gorgeous and spacious. its lovely and quiet and private. only critique is there was no milk in my room/ fridge to make tea or coffee and thought the shower floor could use a bit more of a scrub, besides that was a perfect stay.”

“Fantastiskt trevligt hotell med ödmjuk lyx och harmonisk stämning. Underbart läge och en stor egendom med trevliga promenadvägar. Ett av de bästa hotell jag och min fru bott på.”

“We had a great time spending a night here. Nice tranquil surroundings. Lovely?”

“Location and grounds were lovely. Room was advertised as the "Stables Suite", but it was very small. We had to go outside and into another locked room to access our kitchenette. Front desk staff was very dry and not welcoming. She did not seem to like her job. Breakfast started 45 minutes after advertised. Listing and signage say "breakfast, lunch and dinner", but they only serve breakfast. Bed was very old and creaky. Lots of potential. Needs TLC.”

“Vi hade bokat rum med två enkelsängar. Ändå fick vi en dubbelsäng, även om värdinnan var vänlig och bad om ursäkt, så tar inte det bort faktumet att vi inte fick det vi specifikt bokat.”

“Our stay at the Old Mushroom Farm was fantastic. The converted mushroom house into an apartment is awesome and very comfortable. I would recommend it for anyone wishing to explore the Howick/Karkloof area.”

“Our stay at Bali and Eva was nothing short of exceptional from start to finish—a definitive five-star experience in every sense. The owners have done a phenomenal job curating a world-class luxury retreat right in the heart of the Midlands. Every detail of the accommodation reflects impeccable taste, comfort, and thoughtful design, making it the perfect setting to unwind in style. Beyond the beautiful property, the hospitality truly sets this place apart. The staff were genuinely warm,...

“Very aged facilities. The staff lack communication skills and literally grunt at requests. A beautiful steak for dinner was somehow botched. How much salt does a chef need to butcher a good piece of beef??? No thanks. This place will not see me again.”

“Friendly staff, beautiful setting. Feels like you are in the English countryside ”
