“Where do I begin... First, this rental was the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. Second, the house was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Third, the items stocked were all top quality and not the cheap stuff. The host was super helpful and informative! I highly recommend staying at this little gem in the sweet little town of Dana, Indiana!”

“Upon arrival, the place looked run down. Pool was not functioning and building look older. When checking in, we learned that a new owner had just taken over 2-3 days earlier. The staff could not figure out the software and we were assigned about 3 different rooms before we got one that was truly available for use (one already was occupied by someone else, one was under renovation and the 3rd I can't remember). “This house was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 5 children. We had plenty of room to sleep and spread out. The kitchen was well stocked for us to make meals. The house was clean and decorated nicely. It felt very cozy and everyone enjoyed our stay! Less than 10 minutes from Turkey Run which is the reason we were in town. Would love to return next time we are in the area!”

“We loved the idea of an abandoned school being converted for multiple uses. Being educators it was fun staying in a school. Very close to beautiful hiking trails. Enjoyed our stay immensely!”

“We had a wonderful little getaway at the cabin! Turkey Run State Park is conveniently located just down the road with several restaurant options in nearby Rockville. My kids loved the little zip-line in the backyard, and we all enjoyed exploring the trails behind the cabin. The bedrooms are spacious and mattresses were comfortable. We loved the open, inviting kitchen/living area and the decor! We would definitely stay here again.”

“An excellent choice for a getaway with family. The outdoor amenities were exceptional, from the fire pit to the pool and spas, seating areas, and relaxing in nature. The location was perfect for easy access to beautiful Shades State Park. The kitchen was small for 10 people but adequately stocked. The gaucho grille was not appropriate for our needs: difficult to manage the heat and the grille surface does not work for burgers, etc. A conventional gas, propane, or charcoal grill would provide...

“Excellent property! Stayed with two families and 9 people. Plenty of space, very clean and very comfortable. Hit tube is large and clean, fire pit is great, and it's very close to Turkey Run and the river access. Highly recommend.”

“Cute little house with pool and hot tub. We stayed three nights to visit Shades, Turkey Run and Cascade Falls. We brought our dog and she enjoyed the fenced in yard and barking at the cows across the street. We had everything we needed, Lisa and Tony were very attentive and quick to respond.”
