“Motelet ligger i utkanten av Otorohanga, nära en kiwipark och så klart Glowworm grottorna. Vi (fyra pers) fick ett eget byggnad med kök, vardagsrum och tre sovrum med minst åtta sovplatser. Ganska sliten byggnad, flera fönster är bara "glaspersienner", flygor, mygg kommer in. Dålig städning i badrummet. Enkel lantlig stil. Finns en enklare pool vid huset. Ingen luftkonditionering. Trevliga ägare.”

“Clean and got what u need but No AC. Extremely disappointed that the pool was not started for the season(19 dec) without stating this possibility on hotels.com, as pool was THE reason we booked this hotel. Told staff in reception this but No reaction to it.”

“Amazing how they were able to equip the train carriage with modern amenities while retaining the original charm. Bath was an add on unit with full fixtures but integrated with the train. Good AC and heating options and nice kitchenette. Check out the fabulous Hobbit and ferrry boat options.”

“Very clean and well appointed house . Left a vase of fresh cut flowers. Great communication with owner. My partner left her shoes behind and Jenny dropped them off at my place when she came into town :)”

“The place was very nice. Clean and comfortable. The host was fantastic, friendly and quick to respond to questions. He even let our young daughter feed one of the lambs. Bit of noise from the nearby state highway, but fairly quiet if the doors and window are closed. Not loud enough to bother us.”
