“Spititual and interesring trip where we learned a lot about the specific Kukai buddhist religion, went on the cementary night tour and visited a lot of the temples. We joined the morning and afternoon meditations and everything was great - only the western turists were being unpolite and disrespectful in these ceremonies. The munks who are in charge of the whole hotel are really nice and helpful. Food was delicious! ”

“Very friendly staff at check in. Walkable from Wakayamashi station. The area is a fun little section of the city with a lot of character. Plenty of hole in the wall eateries and small bars. I found some live music clubs to check out right around the corner. There are a few shopping streets to walk that aren’t focused on tourism. Good local feel if you want to escape the tourist or business vibe. ”
