“We stayed at one of the forest view cabins, lower level. It was a bit musty, and we did note spiders on the pillows in the bedrooms at night. Notified staff. The lodge and food(served as buffets style) was excellent. Other cabins on ground level may be better. The rooms at the lodge are probably a better bet.”

“The hotel as such was perfectly OK and the pool area looked very nice although we never used it. The gym equipment however was very worn and rusty. Also the gym had neither towels nor disinfectant wipes. ”

“We love staying there because the staff is nice. Plus, my parents lived in Sullivan, Missouri for over 35 years. That is why I love going back there and visit. And the room is quite, too. We love getting away for awhile.”

“Spent a weekend with friends for a local festival. Plenty of room for socializing and 4 rooms for sleeping and privacy. Large front porch was awesome place for morning coffee and sunset happy hour. Living room offered additional location for gathering. The half bath was a convenience on main floor. We did not have the opportunity to to enjoy the hot tub or fire pit but looked like another place to gather. Very private and quiet weekend!”

“Tucked away between the woods and the river, Jack's Cabin is the perfect getaway spot. The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The river and Fagen's Outdoor Adventure is only a mile down the road. Being able to have our dog with us was a huge plus for us. We will definitely book here again. “Booked it for a 3 day weekend girls trip and fell in LOVE. The upstairs and downstairs having full kitchens/living spaces makes it perfect for families to vacation together while also having some space which is all we could talk about doing in the future. For our girls trip it was peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what our mom group needed to relax. I can’t wait to come back someday. “Workers are very friendly. Unfortunately the room itself was disappointing.Beds came unmade, not an issue. However, the sheets provided do not fit the bed.Photo of the bathroom in the listing is not the actual bathroom of the cabin. Shower was small and stained. Bathroom fan did not work. Drop ceiling in the bathroom was warped and falling.Room had significant staining on the ceiling. No deadbolt on the main door, only relying on the hotel style keycard lock. Overall. It was a place to stay....
